JCCAC Arts & Crafts Fair and Open Day (Hong Kong)

After surviving the excitement of the Royal Wedding yesterday, we need to calm ourselves down a bit (and stop imagining ourselves in that gorgeous Sarah Burton wedding dress). Thus, we went for a little arts appreciation at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) today. The Fair and Open Day will be held for just two days (30/4 and 1/5) so we hope you read this just in time.

There you can shop for items designed by local artists (and most are hand-made), as well as to join the many workshops they organize for visitors, such as glass-blowing, accessories making, DJ-ing and even erhu (二胡) making. Not bad for a weekend huh?

And these are what we got from the Fair - bracelets with skulls embellishment and some fluorescent textile paints!
